A collaborative project for the Adobe XD team exploring the subject of solitary and collective creativity. Created during my internship at Athletics, as part of a team of 7 designers, I helped create typographic ‘signatures’ for the 150 attendees to Adobe XD Week 2014. Athletics developed 10 thematic graphic systems, including the 2 shown below, which I designed. Each final signature took the form of an 18" by 24" poster printed and distributed at the event. Designed under the direction of Matt Owens and Jason Gnewikow of Athletics, alongside designers Landry Miller, Cassidy Van Dyk, Allison Connell and fellow intern Marianna Fierro.
Piña is an imaginary artisanal ice cream and cocktail bar, based on a color study of a baby pineapple.
*Please note: the base images are used specifically for illustrating various applications of my logo and do not belong to me. However, all branding materials for Piña are my own designs.

A self-published, printed publication which shares the stories of fellow RISD students. Distributed around Providence and featured at the RISD booth at the Yale University Art Book Fair in 2014. With my classmate Irin Chitman, we founded, designed, edited and contributed to the publication. Issue #2 currently in the works!
Pluto is a contemporary serif textface with lumpy, thumb-like serifs and organic forms which reference the whimsy of Tintin comicbooks and the newsy formality of National Geographic magazine. Available for download here, along with the other student typefaces exhibited at the RISD Graphic Design Senior Show 2015 entitled Final Draft.
Designed under the supervision of Cyrus Highsmith.
Inspired by sticker art and graffiti culture, this adventure kit functions as a guide to 12 spots along my trail from Downtown Providence to College Hill, each marked by a sticker found on the street. The adventure kit includes a guidebook (which folds out into a map), a sketchbook, an envelop (to store found objects), a disposable camera, a pencil and two sticker sets - all of which fit into a compact, handmade wooden box.
A timeline introducing Vladimir and Georgii Stenberg, otherwise known as the Stenberg brothers. Their masterful Soviet film posters influenced the use of collage techniques in the design.
A book cataloging James Turrell’s retrospective at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA). Taking cues from Turrell’s use of light and color, the spreads feature several key pieces, sketches, cropped color fields and essays about the work. Comprised of 10 separate booklets with inset pages, folded and bound with a rubber band. The reflected type on each booklet references the notion of the retrospective.
